NXP Semiconductors enables secure connections and infrastructure for a smarter world. We are looking for a remarkable Embedded Security Software Architect to join our Secure Software IP team at the Competence Center Crypto & Security, where we design, build, and deliver end-to-end security solutions. This team is responsible for developing state of the art secure cryptographic libraries, protected against physical and logical attacks, across all different NXP domains and business lines.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Handle requirements management, software design, variant management, code quality and release coordination of assigned projects
  • Interact with engineering teams as a technical expert to support the development process and with business users to define and scope projects
  • Drive the requirement management process for assigned projects
  • Drive the architectural design and technical specification of deliverables including documentation and API definition
  • Contribute to detailed design together with domain experts
  • Review important code changes for API impact and structural rework
  • Monitor code quality and KPIs to meet targets
  • Align with project managers and security architects on project execution and release coordination
  • Collaborate with other architects on cross-project topics
  • Support engineering teams by explaining design and addressing technical challenges
  • Interact with business users on project definition and integration topics

Dein Profil

  • Degree in Computer Science, Microelectronics Engineering or similar
  • 6+ years of relevant working experience
  • Hands on experience in embedded systems development and debugging
  • Experience with software architecture and design concepts
  • Proven knowledge in C and assembly programming
  • Familiar with ARM and/or RISC-V instruction sets
  • Experience with Rust
  • Experience with low-level HW interactions
  • Python knowledge is nice to have
  • Familiar with software security (protection against logical and ideally physical attacks)
  • At least basic knowledge of cryptographic algorithms
  • Team player willing to work with cross functional teams
  • Good communication skill in English
