Deine Aufgaben
As our Senior Mathematician Gaming (m/f/d) you take a leading role in designing and developing advanced game concepts and mechanics in close collaboration with Game Art Directors and cross-functional teams. Moreover, you create, validate, and optimize complex mathematical models that translate game design requirements into scalable and robust gameplay systems. In addition, you design and oversee the implementation of game logic across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring consistency, performance, and maintainability. Act as a key interface between design, development, and production teams, aligning mathematical systems, gameplay vision, and technical implementation. Last but not least, you lead testing and validation efforts to ensure accuracy of calculations, system integrity, and a high-quality player experience.
Dein Profil
- Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, ideally with a focus on combinatorics, probability, statistics, or applied mathematics
- Several years of professional experience in a mathematical, systems design, or game development environment
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Excellent English skills (German is an advantage)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to mentor others
